| Details: | SUMMARY: follow up on survey deficiencies DETAILS: The 18-week deadline for addressing all significant deficiencies is a few days off, so I checked back in with Claude. His arsenic sample was received, and the plan review for the new well was finalized. Previously, he had described posting the emergency contact numbers by the phone so as to be available for employees. But he had not pulled together other water system records and labeled them for someone elses benefit if called upon to deal with a water situation while Duane was unavailable. He said there really are no periodic maintenance tasks to put in an O and M manual. So I sent him an email suggesting that he compile the water sampling info for his system - coliform sampling plan, annual nitrate sample and where he usually takes it, and past testing results - and combine that with the contact information hes assembled (for the lab, emergencies, etc.) into a "Water System Records" file or binder in his office. He needs to label those records well, and make sure his staff know where it is kept. ACTION NEEDED: Duane will notify me when the Water System Records are done. | ||
