| Details: | SUMMARY: Temporary UV Unit is Installed DETAILS: Spoke with Jake. The Calgon temporary UV unit has been installed in the vault following the 4.5 MG contact chamber. During start-up it was discovered that when all 9 lamps were on at full power, the chlorine residual decreased substantially as water passed through the UV unit. Currently running only three lamps in order to maintain the chlorine residual. Crypto sampling of the raw water will continue twice per week until a revised UV dosing strategy can be developed by Calgon and approved by DWS. Water has started being injected into the ASR well. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to submit revised dosing strategy for DWS review. | ||
