| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to taste and odor complaint DETAILS: Betty called this morning to report that her daugher (student at OSU) does not like the taste of the water in the dorm, and was recently reporting that she was sick. Betty called to inquire about the proper diagnosing questions to ask about water quality. We discussed primary (health) versus secondary (taste & odor and aesthetic concerns) standards and the roles of DWS and the water supplier. I indicated that the City of Corvallis is the best place to start (PWS serving the dorm) and referred her to City contact for DWS. I notified both City and DWS oversight contact of the inquiry and potential future phone call from this individual. ACTION NEEDED: Nothing specific at this time. | ||
