| Details: | SUMMARY: spill notification DETAILS: Someone found an exposed oil tanker that overflows its viscous, drying oil-like substance into the Parrot Creek a few hundred yards from the South Umpqua River near the Douglas County Fairgrounds, a dozen or so miles upstream of River Bend West Water. Pete spoke to Dave who mentioned the intake was off for now anyway, and their Umpqua River intake may only be used for irrigation (that part was unclear). ACTION NEEDED: none |
