| Details: | I spoke with Rick Southerland at the Myrtle Point Kingdom Hall regarding the E. coli positive assessment sample collected on Tuesday, February 2nd. He indicated a routine sample was also collected in the distribution system that was absent. Since they do not have 4-log treatment, he will collect five confirmation samples at the well prior to treatment. We also discussed inspecting the wellhead for possible signs of contaminant entry. The facility is currently closed and not serving customers due to COVID. The Coos County Health Department staff have been notified. Action:Waiting for confirmation sample results to determine next steps. - MB |
