| Details: | SUMMARY: Hydrocarbon taste/odor complaints DETAILS: Complaints started April 18th about fuel smell/taste in the Glasgow area. By Monday April 21, eight complaints from physically close connections. CBNB issued do not drink/cook public notice. CBNB sampled water for chemical analyses. Naphthalene and perchloroethylene both detected below MCLs. CBNB flushed lines and local reservoir. Repressurized system. Resampled. Awaiting last chemical analyses results for delivery today. If results indicate safe water, do not drink/cook notice will be lifted. CBNB still searching for cause. Possible cause may be backflow from carpet cleaning. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
