| Details: | SUMMARY: Corrosion control, recent Cu > AL DETAILS: The soda ash delivery equipment is installed. Soda ash is not currently being fed because the pH is about 7.0. Given there is insufficient alkalinity, calcium concentration, or conductivity data and the action level (AL) has been exceeded for so long, a pilot approach shall be applied by increasing the pH to 7.5. After 1 month of operation the water is to be analyzed for copper at the sample location with the historic highest concentrations. If the copper concentration is above or near the AL, then pH should be increased to 7.8. ACTION NEEDED: send plan review conditional approval letter | ||
