Details: | SUMMARY: MPA Analysis 2003 and Coliform detections from 2012 DETAILS: I talked to Ann Moritz with Deception Creek 3/4/14. She said that they had their pump replaced during that time period that the coliform positive results were found during their assessment samples in 2011-2012. She said starting in October a check valve had broken then in November they put in the service request for the pump issues with Rainbow Pump, they replaced the pump in December 2011. The pump company did not do a shock chlorination after replacing the pump just a basic chlorine sanitizing of equipment. This could explain their issues with the coliform from October through February. I also found a letter from 2003 that shows the systems test results for MPAs taken at the well in May and October of 2000 and 2003. The letter states the systems well is no longer considered potential surface water influenced. ACTION NEEDED: Forwarded information on to the state. Working with Casey Lyon to determine how best to document temporary contamination issue for system from Oct 11- Feb 12. Forwarded MPH letter to Russ Kazmierczak. |
