| Details: | SUMMARY: E.Coli Contamination at CG Follow Up DETAILS: Casey Lyon received details from DEQ proper decommissioning of gray water drain and dry well. USFS Forest service is to provided details on decommissioning demonstrating that they followed appropriate measures as required by DEQ. Below is the description of what they need to provide. A coliform sample from the hand pump came back absent for bacteria.DEQ Requirements for UIC:•Determine that the structure is not subject to the UIC rules. This can be done by: Demonstrating that the structure was designed to serve less than 20 people per day, or Showing that the structure is shallower than its largest surface dimension •Close the UIC in accordance with the UIC rules, which involves removing the gravel backfill and filling the cavity with impermeable material. ACTION NEEDED: Demonstrate gray water drain follows DEQ rules and receiving approval from DWS prior to allowing the hand pump handle to be placed on the well at the CG. | ||
