| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to localized boil water notice -main break DETAILS: Shanti called at 1 pm today (5/6) to indicate that the two special coliform bacteria samples taken on 5/5 both came back total coliform absent. The samples were collected after the repair of the main, flushing, restoration of adequate pressure and chlorine residual in the area of the break, as per the DWS Best Management Practices on responding to reduced pressure events. District to notify affected users that the localized boil water notice may be lifted on 5/6. ACTION NEEDED: District to initate automated phone tree to notify affected users, and post door hangers for those that are not reachable by phone, to inform them that the boil order posted on 5/4 may be lifted. | ||
