| Details: | SUMMARY: follow up to monthly nitrate over MCL DETAILS: System is on a monthly nitrate schedule. When I spoke with the manager, Jackie, she informed me there was an o-ring that had failed causing some flooding in the treatment building. They did not have spare parts on hand and had to wait for a new part. The water sample was taken approximately 2-3 days after the o-ring had been replaced. I explained that the nitrate public notice needed to be put up right away. I emailed a draft notice on 5/5. A confirmation sample was collected on 5/5. (** the result was 9.28**). ACTION NEEDED: Post public notice and send in a copy to OHA. Notice can be taken down in a week as long as confirmation sample is below the MCL of 10ppm. Continue monthly monitoring. | ||
