| Details: | SUMMARY: December Arsenic Results Exceed MCL DETAILS: I contacted Ron Loving by phone to discuss the most recent quarterly sample exceedance for arsenic at FSA taken 2/1/18 and received 2/8/18. The rolling annual average appears to round up to .0106, exceeding the MCL for arsenic. I left a voicemail for Ron. On Monday, February 12th Ron called back and stated that Food Services of America has chosen to discontinue the use of the arsenic producing well and connect to City of Woodburn water. The intertie is planned to be finished by May 1st, 2018. ACTION NEEDED: Issue Tier 2 public notice for arsenic within the next 30 days. Repeat the posting for each sample that keeps your rolling annual average above the MCL. When the well is disconnected and the intertie fully functional, please contact Joshua Geck, ODA, to notify him of the project completion. A system information change will be submitted with OHA DWS to close the public water system. | ||
