| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate alert DETAILS: Nitrate abatement equipment found to be non-operational. Test result of 25 ppm (2.5 time MCL) Firm has repaired equipment and is posting public notice that will remain in place for 7 days. Salt uptake had decreased and brought contract firm in the conduct repairs. While repairs were being implemented a sample was collected and submitted for testing. Firm has now repaired the equipment and will collect a new sample to submit to verify proper function. Firm will post public notice today and email a copy to Dept of Ag. ACTION NEEDED: Retest and public notice posted within 24 hours. | ||
