| Details: | SUMMARY: E.coli alert DETAILS: Spoke with Jim on Monday following the E.coli positive result collected on May 7th. Jim said it was his operating error that caused the E.coli result, he forgot to plug in the chlorinator pump after filling the dosing tank on Wednesday May 5th. The chlorine residual was 0.08 mg/L on 5/7, this is very low and likely the reason for the E.coli positive result. Jim corrected the problem by plugging the chlorinator pump back in on Friday evening 5/9, and residual levels came back to normal levels quickly. Repeats all came back absent for any coliform bacteria. ACTION NEEDED: Remember to plug in the chlorinator after maintenance, check residuals daily at EP. | ||
