| Details: | SUMMARY: Boil water notice issued for Portland Water Bureau and some purchasers DETAILS: A boil water notice was issued on Friday 5/23/14 for Portland Water Bureau and some purchasers, including West Slope Water District (See Portland Water Bureau 4100657 contact reports for details). Portland is managing a coordinated sampling effort on Friday with itself and the affected purchasers-- as a part of this effort, West Slope will collect a total of 4 samples from their service area (specifically, from their 3 routine coliform test sites spread geographically throughout the distribution system, as well as the inlet to their reservoir). ACTION NEEDED: Results from the coordinated sampling effort will be available Saturday 5/24/14-- results will be evaluated and DWS will determine if the boil notice can be lifted. UPDATE: all sample results absent for coliform/E.coli-- boil notice lifted as of 11 am Saturday 5/24/14. | ||
