| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert follow up for routine TC+ DETAILS: Routine coliform 5/20/14 positive. Recd phone call from lab on 5/22 asking where repeat samples should be taken from. This system feeds 7 individual cisterns so sampling at homes is not an option. Each cistern is privately owned and part of the "plumbing". Called Sammie and discussed. She will take another source sample ASAP to verify T C positive. If positive, she will chlorinate well and resample in a week or two. Residents chlorinate their own cisterns each spring and fall for assurance. ACTION NEEDED: wait for follow up sample results to dictate further action. If repeat is positive, send public notice out to all 7 homes. *note. Sammie explained that Desch 4240 (well in pump house) is in use again now. For a time, Desc 58359 was being used while work was being done on 4240. The connection to 58359 has been disconnected. | ||
