| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine +TC DETAILS: Received a report from the lab 6/4/14 that a routine sample collected Monday 6/2/14 was positive for total coliform (absent for E. coli). Discussed with Josh on-site 6/5/14 during the systems previously scheduled water system survey-- 4 repeats were collected 6/4/14, 3 from the distribution system and 1 from the source. I discussed that all the samples needed to be collected from the distribution system (source sampling is only required for groundwater systems, and even then, the system must be unchlorinated for a source sample to be counted as one of the 4 repeats). ACTION NEEDED: Operator will notify lab that another repeat needs to be collected from the distribution system. Will wait for results from repeat sampling and respond accordingly. Note: 5 routine samples will need to be collected in July. | ||
