| Details: | SUMMARY: Complaint of Hatches Left Open DETAILS: Received a complaint that hatches on the slow sand filter effluent vaults had been left open for a day or more. Spoke with Jeff on June 3. He said he had been doing some maintenance work at the plant which was why the hatches were opened, and that they were closed now. I advised Jeff the hatches should only be open when inspecting the vaults or performing other work, and closed as soon as the work was done. ACTION NEEDED: Review operations during upcoming on-site survey of the water system. | ||
