Details:	SUMMARY: WTP Operational Assistance DETAILS: Jewell School has a modular slow sand filter water treatment plant that provides water to the school as well as 11 connections that serve a total of 172 people. The source for the schools water is an infiltration well located on the bank of Beneky Creek. Sodium Hypochlorite is added for disinfection after the sand filters. The Circuit Rider was contacted by Evan Hofeld (OHA) when the previous operator left employment with the school district. Evan requested that the Circuit Rider assist the new operation (Ron Wanner) with operational issues and recommendations. Review filter cleaning (harrowing) and ripening procedures with Ron Wanner, by phone. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to assist Ron Wanner with operational needs.
