| Details: | SUMMARY: Waterline break DETAILS: Don informed me that they had a waterline break on Saturday afternoon (July 6th) about 3 pm. They were able to isolated the area while there was still pressure in the line - but this resulted in shutting off service to five houses. No restaurants were impacted - specifically the BayWay Eatery. The City operators had to wait until this morning for utility locator service - and have now started cutting pavement in order to excavate and expose broken pipe or failed fitting. ACTION NEEDED: I asked Don to call me when they determined what had failed and how they were going to repair the line and restore service. | ||
