| Details: | SUMMARY: Customer complaint - odor DETAILS: Mary, customer of the City, contacted our office as she has noticed a strong sulfur odor in her water over the past month. She had previously contacted the City and she indicated that the City mentioned that the chlorine treatment system was not operational for a period of time, and was recently fixed. DWS staff then followed up with City public works director, Scott Morris, who mentioned that the air relief valve on well with historical odor problems had problem that blocked chlorine feed line. Problem with valve has been fixed, chlrorine feed re-established, sytem flushed and chlorine levels have been increased to remedy the problem. I relayed this to Mary. ACTION NEEDED: No specific action of DWS at this time. | ||
