| Details: | 9:40 - Voicemail left with Bill asking for a call back due to a coliform alert on his water systerm. 10:45 - Bill stated Sippel Well Drilling will be coming out at 3pm to collect four water samples. We discussed the requirement to take three repeat samples in the distribution and one trigger source sample. Bill was unsure if the there was a sampling tap at the well-head (>60 years old) but mentioned there might be a spigot right outside the well house. He also mentioned that many of the samples are taken from outside hose bibs since they are easier gather. He is considering sampling indoors now, but we discussed possible contamination if sampling from swivel faucets and we went over general "best practices" for sampling. Bill was informed that next month he will be required to take three routine samples. We also discussed possible scenarios if the repeat samples come back positive for TC or EC. |
