| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform alert DETAILS: Phone conference with Darrell Lund (system operator). I told Darrell to maintain a chlorine residual in the distribution system. That the system needed to take five additional samples at the well prior to any treatment. We discussed how to do this. I suggested that the valve to the distribution system be closed, the chlorinator be turned off, the faucet between the well and the chlorine injection point be opened and the well pumped turned on. Let the water run for several minutes before taking the samples. I also scheduled with Darrell to conduct a survey (inspection) of the system on Wednesday August 6. The Water system will need to collect five temporary routine water samples in August 2014. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
