| Details: | Josh reported that results of 1 of 3 repeat samples showed presence of coliform and he clearly recognizes that he made hand contact on the inside surface of the lid of the sample bottle for this particular sample location. We talked about importance of making samples free of potential contamination to assure results are representative of the water system. I advised (1) assume system is clean and go forward with collecting 3 temporary routine samples in march with no extra disinfection or (2) add some chlorine for shocking purposes and thoroughly flushing system prior to collecting temporary routines or (3) collecting a special sample to determine if results make it logical to shock chlorinate. |
