| Details: | SUMMARY: Changing source DETAILS: Miles called to ask if Loon Lake could transfer an existing water right from a spring to the lake. Water Resources Department handles water right transfers. If the lake water is used, inactivation and filtration treatment are required. If the spring is used, Miles explained there is a restriction on proximity of the water line to the lake. DWS does not have restrictions on water lines relative distance to a surface water body, but does have a requirement to bury water lines sufficiently. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
