Details: | SUMMARY: Options for Cartridge Filtration DETAILS: The Big Lake Youth Camp is located off Big Lake, near the Sanitam Pass in Linn County. The non-profit camp has a Transient Non-Community water system that that provides water to 300 persons. The water system has cartridge filtration with chlorine and UV disinfection. The Circuit Rider had been contacted by Laura Burns (OHA) to provide assistance with a contact tracer study. Due to potentially limiting chlorine contact time options, the water system has the potential need for 2.5-log treatment from a filtration system or possibly 3.0-log treatment with filtration and UV combined. Researched UV reactors and costs for additional 0.5 log treatment. ACTION NEEDED: Assist with the possible selection of filtration and UV disinfection equipment or methods for additional contact time. |
