Details: | SUMMARY: Public Eduaction for lead and conversation on remediation DETAILS: Below is an e-mail correspondence I had with Tim Love regarding public education posting and lead remediation at the school. From Scott Kruger : A few weeks back we discussed the need to re-post the lead and copper public education materials before the end of August. How are we doing with that? If it has been done or is going to be done soon please send me a copy. Lets touch base soon on any conversations you may have had with HBH ( Circuit Rider Program) on remediation tactics.Response from Tim Love: We have been working on the update to the notification. Ill forward it to you tomorrow. We have had continuous postings over the last year here at school already and I just need to change some of the information and wording. I havent met with HBH yet, but I will as soon as we get our final occupancy in the new SAGE building here. That project is wrapping up quickly in the next 3-4 days. It is very exciting to have a sustainably built new generation modular building for our classrooms in the middle school. The plumbing is all new for this phase, at least, so there is great improvement in the water system with that upgraded building. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to work with the system on remediation. To date they have not been successful in having two sixth samples for lead return below the action level. Classroom five continues to be an elevated test site. This has been an on-going issue for several years that needs to be resolved. |
