| Details: | SUMMARY: Letter Sent - New Public Water System DETAILS: A letter was sent to Margaret Guth on 9/26/14. The letter discusses a site visit on 9/17/14 and their new status as a public water system. A copy of the letter is available upon request.Specific observations included:1. We observed holes in the roof of the water reservoir where environmental contaminates could enter the inside of the tank and contaminate the drinking water inside.2. We observed direct evidence of rodent infestation at the reservoir.3. We observed that a non-approved water treatment system has been installed at the reservoir (‘Pure WaterTM, Ozone Treatment System’).4. We observed that the infrastructure installed at this water system has not been formally approved via the Oregon Health Authority, Drinking Water Services plan review process. ACTION NEEDED: Submit plans for formal review to the Oregon Health Authority. Correct structural deficiencies at reservoir. Eliminate rodent infestation. Eliminate non-approved ozone treatment system. Begin water quality monitoring. | ||
