| Details: | SUMMARY: Technical Assistance & Deficiency Follow-Up DETAILS: Debbie contacted our office to discuss their current draft of their ‘Coliform Sampling Plan’. We reviewed the purpose of the Coliform sampling plan and explained the standardized jargon used by the OHA, DWS program.We reviewed the different types of Coliform samples (Source, Distribution, Triggered, Routine, Repeat, etc.). We also reviewed nitrate sampling at the ‘Entry-Point’.We requested information regarding efforts to screen the vent pipe to the reservoir. Debbie reported that the correction has been made (see water system survey report – 9/11/14).Action Needed ACTION NEEDED: Complete the new draft of the Coliform sampling plan and begin collecting chlorine residual measurements in the distribution system twice weekly (rather than just inside the well building). As a reminder, your annual nitrate, annual source water assessment and final routine Coliform samples are due before the end of this calendar year. | ||
