| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert follow-up on routine results DETAILS: Routine sample was positive for total and e. coli. Repeats were taken 10-13-14 ACTION NEEDED: The operator suspected that the lab was being inconsistent with its testing methods so the operator took the water sample from a 5 gal Sierra Springs( 2 witnesses observed this) container than microwave the sample water to the point of boiling and then filled the sample bottle. Another sample was taken at the same time from the distribution at the outside spigot and taken to The Dalles Water Quality Lab and it came back clear. I spoke to the operator and let him know that the results had been reported and after talking to the State that repeats were still necessary since that was the formal record. Samples were taken today and taken to The Dalles Water Quality Lab, results pending. | ||
