| Details: | SUMMARY: Operator sent in a fake sample to see if the lab was lying about coliform positive tests to increase testing revenues. DETAILS: Fake sample was from a sealed commercial water bottle. Water was then boiled on a stove then poured into a sample bottle. Sample then came back positive for coliforms. ACTION NEEDED: State Drinking Water personnel stated that this sample cannot be vacated and the system must pull 4 repeat samples. 3 from distribution and 1 source sample. | ||
