| Details: | SUMMARY: Complaint that a residents water was brown. DETAILS: Complainant said that they had switched from creek/spring water back to well water. Complainant is afraid to drink the water because the well has been condemned. I explained that the well had not been condemned and they can use the well for emergency use. I explained that the well water receives the same treatment that the creek water receives. I spoke with Amy Chapman from Lincoln County EH and she went to the residence and checked for chlorine residual. The water does have a chlorine residual. The water was tested for coliform last week and it was negative. Bruce will have the next sample taken from the complainants house. I recommended that the complainants remove the aerator screens and flush the pipes. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
