| Details: | SUMMARY: PNC & Survey follow up Discussion DETAILS: Ms. Willis concerned about email/letter regarding PNC status. She noted that the points against the system, as per the letter, had yet to add in Augusts MCL for TCR. She was concerned that her preferred contractor would not be available to help make physical changes (like adding a holding tank) until October/November .I reiterated that making the physical changes by November would be within the 120 time frame required according to the survey. Also discussed there would be a potential problem with continuing sample results showing presence of coliform. Noted there was some possibility that providing a holding tank to allow chlorine CT rather than chlorinating directly into the well would (1) resolve unpredictable coliform results, (2) allow source sampling as per the GWR and (3) would also resolve one violation noted on the survey. Advised because of TCR violations it will be impractical to eliminate points to less than 11 within 90 days, but as there is no value in waiting for additional demerits, that its time to make changes. ACTION NEEDED: Advised finding a contractor to do physical work ASAP. | ||
