| Details: | Spoke with the operator today about re-opening Taylor Park to the public, wildfire impacts to the water system, resources needed, etc. Wells are still intact (fire was far away from wells), distribution pipes are heavily burned, holding tank is out of commission (burned piping). Currently working to clear area of burned timber and sell to help fund rebuilding the distribution system and reopening the park. Currently, well water is pumped to a pressure tank that is distributed to 3 permanent residences on site. No water is being served to public, park is still closed. Will reach out to DEQ about VOC testing, and other state/federal agencies about funding, sent DRC list of potential funding sources. | ||
