| Details: | SUMMARY: Boil water on-site follow up DETAILS: Joel & Mark met Mr. Louie on 9-9-11 along with Erin OConnell from Columbia County representing DEQ. The septic system backed up due to the tank not being pumped frequently enough. There is a toilet in the building (laundry) that also houses the well. The toilet, where the sewage backed up into the building, has been filled in & capped to prevent this from re-occurring. Erin asked questions about the septic tank. It has been pumped. She asked for the record of it being pumped. She also asked the age of the tank. It’s a steel tank that is well over 50 ft from the well head. Mr. Louie will take 5 samples at the well head on this date. The well has been disinfected & flushed. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor follow up samples taken on this date. | ||
