| Details: | SUMMARY: follow up to tc positive routine sample DETAILS: The system had recently done some work to their well: deepened (L106755). They deepened the well 75 ft and lowered the well pump to 280 ft. The work on the well was done at the end of September 2014. System had been noticing the water table has been dropping and they were having supply issues. This has not gone through plan review yet. Once the well log is posted, the plan review process will be initiated. Most likely, this well work is what contributed to the total coliform positive sample. System was going to batch chlorinate and flush. Also going to change the sand filter as an added measure. ACTION NEEDED: Systems upgrades will need to go through plan review - OHA to receive well log and will initiate the plan review process. To address the total coliform, system is chlorinating and flushing the system. Additional follow up samples are to be collected. Supposed to collect 3 repeat and 1 triggered source sample by 10/25. 5 temporary routine samples are to be collected in November. | ||
