| Details: | SUMMARY: Water Treatment Plant DETAILS: The London Water Company owns and operates a surface water system that provides water to approximately 50 people through 22 connections. Water from Beaver Creek is treated by a pressure filter/cartridge filter plant prior to disinfection with sodium hypochlorite. The system has two 9000 gallon reservoirs that are used for storage and for contact time. The Circuit Rider was contacted by Jon Woodward to provide assistance with a contact tracer study to determine the amount of contact time in the reservoirs before the first user.Along with staff from OHA, performed contact tracer testing. The contact time was not sufficient for the conditions testing. Recommended operational changes that can be made until another tracer test is completed. ACTION NEEDED: Perform tracer testing at revised operational conditions. | ||
