| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic and Uranium Issues DETAILS: The River Village MHP is a mobile home park located northwest of Ontario. The park has a community water system which serves 19 connections with an approximate population of 28 persons. The system has 1 well which has had arsenic levels consistently around 10 ppb. Since 2012, the system has had 3 arsenic tests over the MCL. In addition to the arsenic, the water system has uranium results above the 0.03 mg/L MCL. The Circuit Rider was contacted by the water system to provide assistance with determining the best method of dealing with the recurrent arsenic issue. Discussed water quality testing with Mr. Longtin. Reviewed treatment methods which are recommended with the presence of uranium. ACTION NEEDED: Once water quality test are completed, assist with the determination of the best course of action for the water system. | ||
