Details: | SUMMARY: positive E-Coli. DETAILS: On October 17, 2014, I was notified that Salmon Run Golf Course had positive E-Coli. I spoke with Michelle from the state. She had called Salmon Run Golf Course and left a message. I was in the area and told her that I would go talk to ED Murdock. On arrival, I found that Salmon Run gates were closed. I informed Michelle that the course was closed. On October 20, 2014, I contacted Ed Murdock to inform him that he needs to take four more sample ASAP. However, I learned that Ed has already shocked the well. Ed informed me that there UV light was out. He Order new ones and they will be there by Wednesday the 22 of Oct. I contacted the state and was informed that this would be an unconfirmed E-coli detection. October 21, 2014, I received an E-mail from Shawn Stevenson from the Drinking Water Protection. His E-mail states that Salmon Run should perform the monthly Assessment Monitoring on their well for the next 12 month. I went to Salmon Run Golf Course to speak with Ed Murdock about the above. Ed was not in the office at the time. I did speak with Loraine who is in charge when Ed is out. I informed her why I was there and gave her a copy of the E-mail. I also spoke with Ed on the phone and gave him the same information. I also informed him that the copies would be with Loraine. October 23, 2014, Ed Contacted me to update me that the ballast was out for the UV light. He will get one tomorrow and take samples on Monday October 27, 2014.October 27 Ed informed me that the samples were taken and sent to the lab. ACTION NEEDED: none |
