| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on routine E. coli + sample DETAILS: I spoke to Marlo Jean at 445 pm on 12/10 in response to an E. coli + routine sample from 12/9 at unit #13. She indicated that there is no unit #13 and that she thinks the lab (Grants Pass Water Lab) took the sample from the tank. We discussed that 3 repeats (one at the original location of the EC+, one within 5 units on one side, one within 5 units on the other side) and a triggered source sample (at the well) needed to be taken right away. She indicated that Grants Pass Property Management will be taking repeats at all cabins and at the well, and would be distributing a boil water notice to all customers on 12/11. She felt the source of the EC+ was in the distribution not the well, and that Rogue Valley Pump had been contacted to install chlorination at the system. ACTION NEEDED: DWS to support Josephine County to respond to contamination at water system, including any plan review approval for any treatment added to the system. System to take follow up samples and consult with County on next steps. | ||
