| Details: | SUMMARY: Operator Requirement DETAILS: The LA Water Co-op is a rural water system in western Washington County. The system purchases water from the City of Hillsboro (Cherry Grove plant). The system has an extensive distribution system which serves 728 connections and an estimated population of 2100. The Circuit Rider was contacted by board member Delinda Morgan in regard to the level of operator needed for the water system, as well as the qualifications needed to receive this certification level. Indicated to Ms. Morgan that the system requires a Distribution Level 2 Operator due to the size of the system. Also, reviewed the requirements needed to receive a Distribution 2 certification.
