| Details: | I spoke with the operators of this system. They stated that due to winter weather storms, the distribution piping for this system ruptured and are currently being repaired. As such, it is believed that is not possible to sample the system for their February routine. I explained that if the system operated in February, which it did, then a routine is required for this system. If it can not be provided, a violation will be issued. This violation will return to compliance when the next routine is received. We discussed examining the early portions of the distribution system to see if a valve can be turned off to allow the well to be brought up and a routine sample to be pulled from the wellhead spigot. The operators will go investigate, and if possible pull and submit a sample before the weekend/end of sampling period. We discussed shocking the well and distribution system before bringing the system back into operation. The operator indicated they had the knowledge to do this and would shock the well before putting the system into operation. |
