| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine Sample taken 12/17/2014 positive for fecal coliform DETAILS: All five confirmation source samples, taken December 23rd, have returned from the lab total coliform-positive and one of the five confirmation source samples is E.coli-positive. The source has fecal contamination. Boil water notice was issued for the previous triggered sample total coliform-positive, taken on December 19th. The original routine sample positive was from Dist-A, taken on Dec 17th. Eight homes currently being lived in as most are summer homes. ACTION NEEDED: Corrective action required.I spoke with Joe Anthony. He will be contacting Austin Wieneoke to convey that the Boil Water notice previously issued should remain in effect. I conveyed Amy Chapmans concern that homes not occupied during the winter may return to check on their potentially flood damaged homes. Discussed securing written notices to vacant home doors.5 Temporary Routine Samples will be taken in January - the month following the original Routine Positive December 17th 2014. Four of these samples will be from the distribution system and one from the Source. | ||
