| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic Alert DETAILS: Contacted Ron Loving about the arsenic MCL of 0.0238 received 12/4114. Ron stated the firm is still working with Cameron Clark of CDM Smith to install an ion exchange (green sand) and chlorine for the arsenic treatment. Installation of the treatment system started a couple weeks ago, but pumps need to be replaced or rebuilt and they are waiting for parts and anticipate completion in another 2-3 weeks. At this time the sediment tanks and series of water softeners has been disconnected or by passed and the water test was basically straight from the well, which may explain the very high result this time then in past arsenic tests.Public notice was completed 10/2114 and still posted ACTION NEEDED: Another arsenic test will be taken once treatment is installed by the end of the month | ||
