| Details: | DWS staff and operator discussed xylene detects. The Reservoir Testing Building (EP-A) has been receiving alerts for xylene levels above the Alert Level (0.0005 mg/L) but under the 10 mg/L MCL. First xylene alert from this site was in 2017 and they got an alert late in 2019. In early 2020, post another alert, this site was put on quarterly xylene monitoring and they continue xylene levels above the Alert Level but under the MCL. All historic and recent alerts have been below the MCL. Source or cause for xylene remains unknown and system will continue with quarterly xylene monitoring for the entry point for the reservoir (test building). | ||
