| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to OERS # 2015-0194 DETAILS: I received OERS # 2015-0194 at 1 pm on 1/26/15. The spill report notes an increase in turbidity observed in Pringle Creek due to road construction in the area of Kuebler Blvd and I-5 in Salem. I consulted DWS emergency spill maps and noted that Pringle Creek flows into the Willamette River in Salem, and the nearest public water system intake downstream on the Willamette is the City of Wilsonville, approximately 30 miles downstream. I decided that no notification of the spill to the City is necessary given the amount of dilution present in this stretch of the river. ACTION NEEDED: No action at this time. | ||
