| Details: | SUMMARY: Water quality complaint DETAILS: I received a water quality complaint about super-chlorinated water being delivered to customers without notification. An operator or someone with access to the water system reportedely "shock" chlorinated the water system without notifying customers beforehand or properly flushing the system afterwards. Chlorine residual in drinking water is unknown. I discussed best practices for system maintenance with the caller and public notification rules. I provided information about the complaint to Michelle Byrd who will confer with Jeff Freund about investigation and record keeping for this water quality complaint. ACTION NEEDED: None | ||
