| Details: | SUMMARY: Letter sent summarizing compliance requirements DETAILS: A letter was sent to the operator which said:“Mr. Price,We have been informed that Cascade Locks, City Of public water system (#OR4100172) incurred two violations recently (validated in January, 2015)… In order to return to compliance, immediately test for ‘Nitrates’ as per OAR: 333-061-0036(2)(d)(B). This coming September, you will also need to test for ‘Disinfection By-Products’ as per OAR: 333-061-0036(4)(c). Report the results of these tests to the Oregon Health Authority…As well, we have noted that there are additional violations listed online for Cascade Locks, City Of public water system. This has resulted in a system score of ‘12’ points making this water system a ‘Priority-Non-Complier ’ (PNC)… The ‘GWR’, or ‘Ground Water Rule’, and ‘ASB’, or ‘Asbestos’ violations appear to already be resolved-- the online data-base has simply not completed the process of returning these issues to compliance… We have already begun the process of resolving this issue-- no ACTION NEEDED: Our letter also said:"…In order to return to compliance, immediately collect a test sample for Nitrates-- this coming September, collect DBP test samples as per your approved sampling plan. | ||
