Details: | SUMMARY: ALERT:COLI 13944 - One temp routine collected 2-16-15 tested TC+. DETAILS: 2-17-15 --- Left a voicemail for Del.2-19-15 --- One temp routine collected 2-16-15 tested TC+. I spoke with Del regarding collecting the triggered source and repeat samples and informed him they are due within 24 hours. I added that five temp routines are due in March. We again discussed adding continuous chlorination: Del says that Desert Pump advised him that the pump house would need to be fully insulated and heated otherwise the treatment system would freeze up. Del said that maintaining the treatment system and measuring residual 2x weekly would also be a burden. Also, Indian Trail Water Users only has the rights to use the existing pump house for another couple of years (it is located on an adjacent property)-- therefore, they are reluctant to invest resources into a building they will have to abandon. He added that he has been working with Hiland water to find out the cost to merging with that system-- however, thus far the cost estimates have been prohibitive. They are working on seeing if other water users in the area can share the cost. ACTION NEEDED: See above. | ||
