| Details: | On 8/26/20, the water system collected 5 lead and copper samples. Four of the lead samples had detections, with one of the samples having a result of 30.5ppb. The high sample had been collected at the kitchen tap at the school. The school was notified of the high result. Discussion with the school superintendent, Lou Lyon, was that the kitchen sink that had tested high has since been closed due to water repairs on that side of the school. Five more distribution samples were collected in 10/14/20 and all were non detect for lead. The circuit rider was put in to contact with the water system. Box R Lab was contracted to pull two rounds of water quality samples. The circuit rider assisted with the creation of the public education that was distributed on 12/10/20. The recommendation for LCR treatment is due by 3/31/21. |
